Jessica Bray – Text & Performance

Jessica will be tutoring at StageWise 2020.

Jessica Bray studied Musical Theatre Performance at The Guildford School of Acting, UK. She graduated with a BA Hons (Performance) in Musical Theatre in 2008.

Whilst in training, Jessica received the Sir Michael Redgrave Scholarship and the Sir John Gielgud award for Musical Theatre.

Jessica works as a Performer,Teacher and Director. She teaches drama with “Ennis Academy of Performing Arts” and “Expressive Arts Theatre school” in Limerick. Most recently, she has joined the Musical Theatre Academy in Nenagh as Acting and singing teacher.

Whilst in the UK, Jessica Worked with Stage Coach Theatre Arts as Teacher of “Early Stages Musical Theatre”

Jessica has directed a number of Musicals including Shannon Musical Societies productions of “The Wiz”, “Legally Blonde” and “9 to 5” The Musical.

She also joined Ennis Musical Society as director for their productions of “Sister Act” and “The Addams Family”

Jessica has performed with many local musical societies including Cecilian Musical Society, Bravo Theatre Group, Limerick Musical Society and Shannon Musical Society.

Roles as a performer include- “Lily” in A Man of No lmportance, “Anita” in West Side Story, “Gladys” in Copacabana, “Deloris” in Sister Act, “Martha” in The Secret Garden, “Girleen” in The Lonesome West, “Frenchie” in Destry Rides Again, “Woman 1” in Songs for a New World, “Mama Morton” in Chicago and “Aldonza” in Man of La Mancha for which she received an Aims nomination for “Best Female Singer”

Jessica has a huge passion for education and training in theatre and is really looking forward to working with the Stagewise team.
