Youth Drama, Theatre & Acting Summer Course

STAGEWISE is Ireland’s leading residential performing arts camp ideal for young people aged 13-18 who have an interest in exploring the world of acting, dance, drama and theatre.

Held annually at the King’s Hospital School in Palmerstown, Dublin – StageWise summer camp provides teenagers with an opportunity to develop a range of performance skills including acting, dancing, singing, comedy, improvisation & mime.

Since its launch in the early 1990’s Stagewise has helped thousands of young people develop their confidence, creativity and communication skills. Now firmly established, it has become an annual summer event with a well-earned reputation for the quality of the daily drama classes as a well-organised and thoroughly enjoyable week.

International Quality Tutors

During the course each participant will get a taste of what it is like to train for a career in the world of performing arts, working with some of the industry’s top tutors from both Ireland and abroad. Work begins each day at 9:30 am and continues with breaks for meals until 8:30 pm.

In the evenings, when not engaged in course activity, a supervised social programme is provided which includes a varied range of sports and leisure activities.

If you have an interest in pursuing a career in the performing arts or if you wish to develop your personal, creative and social skills this course is for you.

Age Groups: 13-14yrs, 15yr, 16yr, 17yr, 18yr.

Please note:

  • Places are limited, based on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Early booking is advisable
  • Participants will be allocated to working groups based on age
  • Each group will work with each tutor every day
  • For classes and other activities, you will need soft shoes/runners and a tracksuit.
